These "jazz maps" were created by OPS students (from the 'Making Invisible Histories Visible' program), in collaboration with university students, and include about 100 of the 200 African American musicians living in North Omaha from approximately 1940-1960. The map paints an incredible portrait of a, "Community of Sound."
