The Steve Thornburg Trio is couple Steve Thornburg, alto saxophone, and Mary O’Keefe Thornburg, drums, plus friends/musicians. Usually backed by Dan Cerveny, keys/pedals, or Jim Williamson, keys/pedals, in an organ trio configuration, this busy group regularly plays Omaha restaurants, clubs, and events. Often joined by singer Michael Lyon, singer Vanessa Campan-Thornburg, or singer Noelle Thornburg-Hoeft, the group plays tunes from straight-ahead jazz, to re-envisioned standards & pop, to international selections. 

The STT has appeared with Grammy nominated jazz singer Karrin Allyson many times, and at Joslyn Jazz on the Green with Memphis/London great Charlie Wood.
