Founded as a non-profit organization in 1987, The Nebraska Brass is one of the Midwest's most popular brass quintets. Audiences young and old enjoy the group's serious musicianship & light-hearted humor as they present a variety of music ranging from classical to popular, Dixieland and jazz. The ensemble performs an annual series of five concerts in both Lincoln and Omaha, as well as participating in the touring programs of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Heartland Arts Fund, performing throughout the Midwest.
